What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage customer relationships by providing quality interface, proactive engagement, and effective issue resolution to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate directly with the rental department to ensure maximum fleet utilization while upholding commitments to lease customers.
• Collaborate with Sales staff on customer calls, contributing to the acquisition of new business and improved customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and optimize running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring adherence to established policies and processes.
• Ensure accurate Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling and follow-up, manage breakdown responses, and provide vehicle status updates, while planning technician work for efficiency and flexibility.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, with an interest in working within the transportation industry and learning heavy-duty truck repair shop management.
• Experience: Not specified as a minimum for the trainee role, though relocation within the business unit is required upon completion of the training program.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices; strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and excellent time management skills; strong mechanical skills; ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization; strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages; basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics.
• Bonus: 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience.
