Kern Medical

Since 1867, Kern Medical has been a cornerstone of community health as a 222-licensed bed acute care teaching hospital and extensive network of outpatient clinics. We provide essential, high-quality medical services, including offerings unavailable elsewhere such as the region’s only Level II Trauma program between Fresno and Los Angeles, specialized high-risk pregnancy care, and integrated inpatient psychiatric services. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, top-tier care to all members of our community.

As an academic teaching hospital, we foster a culture of medical excellence through our affiliation with UCLA and its David Geffen School of Medicine, training over 200 residents, fellows, and medical students annually. Our integrated outpatient clinics serve patients from our Columbus, Medical Center, and Truxtun Avenue locations.
