This Entry Level Accountant role is an exciting opportunity designed to propel individuals into a leadership position within the organization, providing real-world business, accounting, and financial training. The role is crucial for learning all aspects of financial management pertaining to running a successful business and fully prepares you to become a Controller or VP of Finance of your own financial operation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statements: Prepare comprehensive financial statements and analyze income statement fluctuations to understand business performance.
• Accounting Procedures: Execute essential accounting procedures, including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Record Management: Manage financial records, assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules, and assist in financial reporting.
• Auditing and Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations, conduct internal audits, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, human resources, and risk management to provide process improvement and cost-saving ideas.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and general ledger operations.
• Bonus: Must be willing to obtain additional certifications such as CPA or CMA. Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past 5 years.
