Accounting Associate | ODDITY

The Tone:

ODDITY is seeking an Accounting Associate to take complete ownership of financial accounting and recordkeeping procedures for designated business units. This role is crucial for supporting ongoing financial planning and reporting, offering significant cross-functional exposure across all departments and brands. What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee the accurate and timely entry of financial records into the ERP system and other internal databases.
• Reconcile: Maintain accurate and detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and prepare general ledger entries.
• Coordinate: Handle all accounts payable activities, including new vendor onboarding and invoice approval processes.
• Support: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures, including global inventory reconciliation and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare: Build and analyze financial reports, including financial statements compliant with US GAAP, and support audit preparations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate with relevant coursework or 1-3 years of experience, holding a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field of study from a top university with a record of high academic achievement.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, public accounting, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably in a high-growth environment, or equivalent coursework for recent graduates.
• Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting practices. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand broader strategic implications. Possesses a proactive, collaborative mindset and is eager to learn and comfortable navigating varied environments.
• Bonus: CPA designation is a significant advantage, as is experience with tools like Looker, Claude, ERP systems, or Alteryx.
