Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management | Walmart

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Walmart, located in Bentonville, AR. Walmart builds and operates a vast retail and supply chain network, focused on delivering value and supporting seamless product flow for its customers. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain by implementing process improvements, analyzing complex data to optimize distribution networks, and resolving operational issues. The Senior Analyst plays a critical part in driving cost reduction initiatives, fostering continuous improvement efforts, and upholding company standards of integrity and accountability across the supply chain.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement: Implement and enhance supply chain processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions within established timelines.
• Analyze: Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify root causes of exceptions and improve network efficiencies across distribution centers and fulfillment operations.
• Resolve: Support resolution of daily operational issues and escalations related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns.
• Guide: Provide guidance and act as a liaison between field operations, suppliers, and transporters to ensure alignment with operational expectations.
• Optimize: Drive process improvement initiatives using lean concepts and end-to-end costing methodologies to reduce waste and optimize costs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Two years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or a related area. Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. Experience leading cross-functional teams to implement sustainable supply chain solutions and drive performance improvements.
• Skills: Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem resolution within distribution networks and fulfillment centers. Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify opportunities for cost reduction and enhanced service levels. Effective communication and collaboration skills to build partnerships with stakeholders and support business objectives.
• Bonus: Experience with Retail Operations or Transportation. A Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
