Management Trainee | Cintas

What You’ll Actually Do
• Departmental Rotations: Rotate through key departments, including Outside Sales, Production/Warehouse Management, Office Management, and Service Management, to gain a comprehensive leadership viewpoint of the business.
• Sales Engagement: Actively engage in outside sales activities, promoting a wide range of Cintas’ products and services while strategically building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Customer Relations: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, thoroughly resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze sales data to assist in making well-informed business decisions and collaborate with key leaders on projects to improve sales management and operational efficiency.
• Professional Growth: Participate in professional development opportunities, including access to Executive Leadership Seminars and Divisional Summits, to further refine leadership capabilities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must currently hold, or be on track to obtain, a Bachelor’s degree within the next six months to qualify for this program.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required. However, candidates must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving regulated vehicles over 10,000 lbs, which includes having an active driver’s license, being at least 21 years of age, obtaining a DOT medical certification, and providing documentation of previous employment before their start date.
• Skills: Demonstrated capability in customer service, effective communication for sales activities, analytical thinking for sales data interpretation, foundational understanding of business operations, and a clear aptitude for leadership development.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include co-op or internship experience in customer service, sales, production, or administrative roles; an academic major in business or a related field; active participation in a leadership or management role on campus or within extracurricular activities; and a willingness to relocate regionally during or upon completion of the program.
