Accounting Coordinator | Kingston Resorts
The Tone:
This is a full-time, year-round role at Kingston Resorts, located in Myrtle Beach, SC, working specifically at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. Kingston Resorts is an expansive 145-acre oceanfront resort that includes the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royale Palms. This Accounting Coordinator position is crucial for performing essential Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting functions, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability across the resort’s operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Support: Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries, and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
• Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with Shared Service Centers (SSCs) and service providers, partnering with SSCs to resolve disputes effectively.
• Financial Reporting: Participate in the production of monthly accounts as directed and complete all assigned month-end responsibilities.
• Internal Control: Execute internal control measures over the revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities of the hotel.
• Information Management: Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management, aiding others to understand financial matters and reporting results.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. General knowledge of accounting operations and an aptitude for figures.
• Experience: Knowledge of AP/AR practices. Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using various software programs such as Word and Excel, and the ability to operate office machines including a calculator/10-key by touch, copier, fax, and telephone.
• Skills: Good communication skills; ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner; ability to listen effectively, speak, and write English clearly; ability to quickly analyze and solve problems; and the ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision within an initial training period.
