This role is crucial for supporting the European Finance & Accounting team, contributing directly to the company’s growth and operational success in an international setting. • Mission: To support the day-to-day operations and month-end activities of the European Finance & Accounting team, aiding the growth of Lucid Motors across Europe.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist with Daily Operations: Support the Accounting Team with a range of daily tasks to ensure smooth financial operations across Europe, contributing to the efficient functioning of the department.
• Prepare and Review Entries: Under guidance, help to prepare, review, and accurately post various journal entries, which are fundamental to financial record-keeping and month-end close activities.
• Support Compliance Activities: Assist the team in gathering necessary information and documentation for local statutory filings and various audit-related requests, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Financial Records: Contribute to maintaining accurate financial documentation and perform basic reconciliations as needed, ensuring data integrity and reliability for reporting purposes.
• Improve Processes and Tools: Participate in projects focused on enhancing accounting and finance processes, optimizing existing tools, and refining ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (HBO/WO equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field. This is an entry-level position designed for students seeking practical experience.
• Experience: Prior internship, part-time employment, or relevant coursework in accounting or finance is beneficial. Candidates should possess basic familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts such as journals, debits/credits, and the close process. Experience using Microsoft Excel or other data handling and reporting tools is also valued.
• Skills: Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential for communicating with diverse stakeholders. Strong communication skills are required for effective team collaboration. Candidates must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and reliable in managing financial tasks. A strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge are also crucial.
• Bonus: A genuine interest in working within a growing, international company environment, particularly in the automotive or technology sector, will be considered a plus.
