Financial Analyst | PayCruit
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PayCruit, located in Tulsa, OK. This position is critical for maintaining financial integrity and providing insightful analysis to support organizational decision-making. The Financial Analyst will perform a broad range of financial planning and analysis for assigned entities, directly impacting financial strategy and operational efficiency by monitoring financial results against plans, forecasts, and budgets.

• Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial planning and analysis, monitoring financial performance against plans, and supporting budget processes for assigned entities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Grant Management: Perform grant-related pre- and post-award functions, including revenue and expense analysis, financial accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Budget Support: Assist departmental leaders with the preparation and review of annual operating budgets and instruct new managers on the use of the budget system.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and interpret complex financial analyses and reports for System management to inform decision-making.
• Account Reconciliation: Prepare monthly reconciliations for general ledger accounts and resolve any identified discrepancies with appropriate personnel.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries based on established deadlines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Five to seven years of related experience in financial systems, with a preference for experience in budget preparation and analysis.
• Skills: Ability to develop and utilize PC based spreadsheets; effectively communicate as an integral part of a team; review financial information such as variance and actual-to-budget analyses; and make recommendations to leadership.
• Bonus: CPA certification
