The company is transforming student transportation through its proven leadership in low- and zero-emission school buses, having sold over 25,000 propane, natural gas, and electric-powered buses. This role is part of a structured Future Leadership Development Program designed to accelerate the growth of high-potential talent, providing hands-on experience and leadership exposure to solve real business challenges that impact Blue Bird’s operations and strategic growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize: Optimize business intelligence dashboards by streamlining data models, consolidating key metrics, and enhancing data relationships to uncover opportunities.
• Develop: Develop tracking templates to assist relevant teams in comparing targets against data.
• Research: Research and collaborate with the IT team to identify effective methods for streamlining and standardizing information.
• Revamp: Assist in revamping the target planning process to improve transparency into opportunities and unlock growth potential.
• Present: Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, showcasing outcomes of key projects and learnings obtained during the program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline. This is an early-career leadership development position designed for high-potential talent.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience post-graduation or successful completion of a relevant internship. Strong academic performance, evidenced by a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher, is valued.
• Skills: Proficiency in optimizing business intelligence dashboards, including streamlining data models, consolidating key metrics, and enhancing data relationships. Demonstrated ability to develop tracking templates and collaborate effectively with IT teams to standardize information. Strong capabilities in presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership, coupled with effective communication, collaboration, and learning agility.
• Bonus: Prior internship experience, ideally within Blue Bird Corporation or a relevant manufacturing or industrial industry. A genuine interest in the manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment is also preferred.
