The Staff Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of financial records and contributing to the core accounting operations of the organization, directly impacting the company’s financial health and reporting accuracy.

• Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting core accounting operations for a growing manufacturing company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close Support: Execute the preparation of essential journal entries and comprehensive account reconciliations, directly contributing to the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist actively in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring adherence to financial reporting standards.
• Internal Control Documentation: Contribute to the detailed documentation of internal control procedures, enhancing transparency and compliance within financial operations.
• Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Provide support on various financial analysis projects, engaging as needed to deliver insights and data-driven recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, coupled with a high level of expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
• Experience: Possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in an accounting role.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective teamwork with other functional groups.
