The Tone:
This is a Summer 2027 Co-op position at GE Appliances, a Haier company, located in Louisville, KY. The TL;DR

• Team: Operations teams supporting various product lines (dishwasher, laundry, refrigeration, cooking, plastics center of excellence)
• Mission: Develop skills and gain real-world experience in manufacturing and operations to prepare for future leadership or full-time roles.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Goal Setting: Set objectives for your co-op rotation in collaboration with your assignment leader.
• Team Leadership: Lead teams across various levels of the business by influencing stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Utilize initiative to identify and develop enhancements for existing processes.
• Project Support: Assist your team with the development and execution of new project ideas.
• Problem Solving: Develop and demonstrate an analytical approach to complex problem solving.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fields. Graduation date of December 2027 or later is required.
• Experience: Must be willing to explore all aspects of Supply Chain, including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality/Quality, Materials, Total Productive Maintenance, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, Consumer Operations, and Advanced Manufacturing.
• Skills: Analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and demonstrated initiative.
• Bonus: Previous Co-op/Intern work experience, successful demonstration of leadership roles on campus or in the community, and coursework or related experience in your major field of study.
