Junior Controller | DynamiX

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DynamiX, located in Kennesaw, GA. DynamiX builds exceptional, conversion-focused websites and digital experiences powered by its proprietary Octane™ platform. As an Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Company, this role is vital for maintaining financial order and providing clear insights to support continued expansion. The Junior Controller will take full ownership of the company’s financial operations, with a clear path to growth into a larger finance leadership role.

• Pay: $65000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the CEO of DynamiX, with dotted-line support from the Alderman Enterprises finance team.
• Mission: Own the full scope of accounting and financial operations for DynamiX to ensure financial health and support company growth.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks, Excel, financial reporting tools, ERP systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Bookkeeping: Own day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger activity, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal leadership and the holding company.
• Cash Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, oversee payroll, and reconcile bank and credit card accounts to monitor cash flow.
• Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with leadership and the finance support team.
• Compliance & Process: Ensure compliance with GAAP, manage preparation for annual financial statement reviews and tax filings, and build accounting processes and controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with a solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or related financial role, with experience in an agency, professional services, or small-to-midsize company being a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and clear communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems, exposure to a marketing, digital agency, or SaaS business model, and progress toward or interest in CPA certification.
