Bankruptcy Processor | Aldridge Pite, LLP
The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Aldridge Pite, LLP, focusing on critical support for its bankruptcy practice. Aldridge Pite, LLP is a multi-state law firm that provides legal services to financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and mortgage servicers, by leveraging technology to streamline client and business partner workflows. This role is essential for managing Post-Petition Fee Notices, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and driving the timely processing of bankruptcy matters. The TL;DR

• Mission: Manage Post-Petition Fee Notices (PPFNs), monitor case progress, and ensure timely processing and accurate record-keeping for bankruptcy matters.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet-based systems, multiple case management and client software platforms.
What You’ll Actually Do
• File Review: Review bankruptcy files to determine whether a Post-Petition Fee Notice (PPFN) is required.
• PPFN Preparation: Obtain and review all necessary documentation to prepare PPFNs for attorney review.
• System Management: File and serve approved PPFNs and update all applicable internal and client systems.
• Issue Resolution: Monitor and manage the Impediment Inventory, providing timely follow-up and escalating unresolved issues until resolved.
• Compliance Oversight: Monitor internal and client-generated reports to ensure matters progress accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes and guidelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic knowledge of Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a legal, mortgage servicing, bankruptcy, or financial services environment is preferred.
• Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and basic accounting skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to learn and navigate multiple case management and client software platforms, a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving timely resolution, and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
