The Tone:
This is a full-time remote role at InstaCash. MK Insta is looking for an Accountant – E-commerce to take ownership of end-to-end accounting and finance operations for its UAE entities. This position is vital for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and upcoming Corporate Tax regulations, and supporting effective financial reporting within the e-commerce sector.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Bookkeeping: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using Zoho Books.
• Reconciliation: Perform marketplace reconciliation across Amazon UAE/KSA, Noon UAE/KSA, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Inventory & Sales: Oversee Zoho Inventory management and conduct daily sales reconciliation, including handling returns, refunds, credit notes, and inventory adjustments.
• VAT Compliance: Prepare and file UAE VAT through FTA EmaraTax, including input and output VAT reconciliation.
• Financial Reporting: Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance and generate monthly P&L and financial reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a B.Com or M.Com degree and possess strong knowledge of UAE VAT and VAT accounting.
• Experience: Possess 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within an E-commerce environment, with essential hands-on experience using Zoho Books.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: A CA Inter or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
