• Mission: Manage the processing of client invoices and ensure timely cash collections to open bills.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing: Process client invoices and monthly retainers, including applicable credit memos.
• Collections: Issue monthly customer statements to facilitate collections on overdue invoices.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile billable expenses to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve discrepancies.
• Month-End Close: Prepare accrued revenue journal entries for invoices not posted at month-end.
• Payment Application: Apply customer payments to reconcile and close open invoices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of billing experience, specifically required in Public Relations or Legal / Law Firm related billing.
• Skills: Proficient with Excel, basic accounting and data entry, good communication skills, detail-oriented with a customer service approach to problem-solving, well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, and capable of learning new processes.
