The Tone:
This is a full-time role at a rapidly growing organization, located in Atlanta, GA, expanding its global business with international operations. This role serves as a key member of the finance team, partnering closely with the Head of Finance to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. • Team: Reports directly to the Head of Finance.
• Mission: This person supports daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement to enable the company’s continued domestic and international growth.
• Tech Stack: ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar), Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP, ensuring compliance with company accounting policies.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial records.
• Financial Close: Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, preparing supporting documentation for financial reporting.
• Transaction Support: Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed, ensuring smooth operational flow.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, management reports, and schedules for external audits and tax preparation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Experience with an ERP system is essential.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP. Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
• Bonus: CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification, experience with foreign currency transactions or international accounting, and experience in a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization are a plus. Internship or early career experience will be considered for exceptional candidates.
