What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Leadership: Support the Branch Manager in daily branch operations, developing a strong understanding of all functions including sales, customer service, fleet management, and administration.
• Customer Engagement: Drive exceptional customer service, maintain strong customer relationships, and build connections with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Financial Performance: Assist with business planning, budgeting, and enhancing branch financial performance by reviewing operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Rental Fleet Oversight: Support comprehensive rental operations, including inventory management, ensuring equipment availability, and optimizing customer satisfaction.
• Team and Safety Development: Assist with employee scheduling, coaching, training, and team development while actively promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all company policies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in business, construction equipment, heavy equipment, diesel technology, or operations management.
• Experience: Leadership experience gained through work, internships, military service, student organizations, or supervisory roles is considered an asset.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; results-driven with the capacity to manage multiple priorities; strong customer service mindset; mechanical aptitude.
• Bonus: Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair is considered an asset; willingness to travel up to 30%.
