2027 Entry Level Supply Chain Coordinator | Solar Turbines

• Mission: Manages purchased material requirements to ensure availability and appropriate inventory levels for customer needs and inventory administration.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Material Planning: Establish and maintain material planning methods and safety stock strategies, adhering to demand planning guidelines.
• Order Execution: Execute and monitor purchase orders from creation to delivery, ensuring materials arrive at the correct place and time.
• Shortage Management: Monitor material shortage tools, adjust supplier delivery schedules, and communicate any actual or potential shortages to customers.
• Inventory Disposition: Monitor inventory levels and utilize tools to manage and dispose of inactive, obsolete, or excess inventory according to guidelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required; this is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Currently attending a 4-year accredited university/college, with a minimum 2.8/4.0 GPA. Preferred majors include Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
• Skills: Business Process Improvement, Analytical Thinking, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Problem Solving, Matrix Management, Vendor/Supplier Management, Procurement.
• Bonus: Previous supply chain internship or work experience, strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills, leadership involvement in student associations, and competence in data analytics.
