What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration & Insight: Collaborate across various departments and teams to gain comprehensive insight into how The State Group’s business operates.
• Project Assistance: Assist with critical tasks such as research, analysis, planning, documentation, and reporting, aligning with the responsibilities related to your area of study.
• Team Engagement: Actively attend team meetings, contributing valuable ideas, providing updates, and proposing solutions to ongoing challenges.
• Skill Development: Build practical and professional skills through dedicated hands-on experience, direct mentorship from experienced professionals, and targeted professional development initiatives.
• Capstone & Networking: Network with other interns within the program and actively participate in a collaborative Capstone Project, alongside undertaking other assigned duties and special projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is for an entry-level professional currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in a field directly relevant to the internship opportunity, having successfully completed at least one year of post-secondary education.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are required; the program emphasizes foundational academic preparation coupled with a strong desire to learn, contribute, and grow within a professional environment.
• Skills: Demonstrates excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities; possesses the capacity to diligently follow direction, effectively manage priorities, and proactively take initiative; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is also required.
