Operations Coordinator | BlueLinx Corporation
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BlueLinx Corporation, located in-person at a distribution facility. BlueLinx is one of America’s largest distributors of building products, providing over 70,000 SKUs to approximately 15,000 customers. This role is crucial for overseeing and performing essential administrative and inventory functions that ensure the distribution facility operates efficiently, supporting the company’s mission to deliver the building blocks to better lives.

• Pay: $24.00/hr.- $28.00/hr.
• Team: No direct reports. Works under direct supervision, exercising limited independent judgment.
• Mission: To ensure efficient administrative and inventory operations at the distribution facility, supporting timely order processing and accurate stock management.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Processing: Expedites order fulfillment by timely printing and waiving work to the distribution floor, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Maintains accurate inventory records through cycle counts, item adjustments, and verifying stock at bin locations.
• Documentation & Labels: Prepares all necessary inbound and outbound labels and ensures that shipping and receiving documents are complete with required sign-offs.
• Performance Tracking: Monitors and tracks completed work at an individual level to provide essential performance information to managers.
• Issue Resolution: Addresses inventory discrepancies, including investigating “not in location” or damaged parts, and performs necessary ticket corrections.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with foundational knowledge in administrative, inventory control, or general warehouse operations.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in administrative, inventory control, or warehouse operations, including tasks such as receiving, put away, picking, material stock/storage, and cycle counts.
• Skills: Basic computer proficiency, strong planning and organizational abilities, effective time management and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of warehouse safety expectations.
• Bonus: Proven experience specifically in inventory control, material stock/storage, and cycle counts.
