Accessibility General Manager | Liftology Franchise

This is a full-time leadership role within Liftology Franchise, operating across its various local markets. Liftology provides essential accessibility solutions, including stairlifts, ramps, vertical platform lifts, and residential elevators, enabling seniors, veterans, and individuals with mobility challenges to live safely and independently. This General Manager position is crucial for building and leading a local business, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional service that profoundly improves people’s lives. It offers a unique opportunity to run an entire local operation, not just manage a department, with significant time spent both in the office and in the field.

• Mission: Owns and leads the entire local market operation to provide accessibility solutions, drive business growth, and ensure outstanding customer experience.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Growth: Drive revenue and profitability growth, managing budgets, job costing, gross margins, and operating expenses for the local market.
• Sales & Client Engagement: Oversee the entire local sales pipeline, from lead generation through installation, including meeting customers, conducting residential and commercial evaluations, and preparing solutions and proposals.
• Community Relationships: Develop and nurture strong referral relationships with key partners such as healthcare providers, veterans’ organizations, senior communities, contractors, and government agencies.
• Operations & Team Leadership: Manage local office staff and field technicians, coordinating equipment orders, scheduling, installations, service, and inspections, occasionally assisting with field activities when needed.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure excellent customer service from the initial contact through ongoing service, maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, and uphold robust safety, licensing, permitting, and documentation standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: General Manager. Demonstrated success leading businesses or teams with a strong understanding of sales, operations, and customer service; comfortable working in both office and field environments with sound business judgment.
• Experience: Proven leadership experience in industries such as accessibility equipment, elevators, construction, home remodeling, HVAC, electrical, mechanical service, medical equipment, home healthcare, field service, or equipment sales and installation.
• Skills: Sales pipeline management, operational coordination, customer relationship management, budget management, and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of the business.
• Bonus: Direct experience in the elevator or accessibility equipment industry, particularly holding an elevator mechanic license, and strong mechanical aptitude.
