The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Snooze, the original brunch leaders who continuously innovate within the breakfast industry. As General Manager, you are the visible representation of Snooze, serving as the primary guide for restaurant direction, daily operations, team morale, staff engagement, and guest satisfaction. Your leadership directly determines the restaurant’s overall success across key objectives.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $75000–$90000 yearly
• Mission: Plan, organize, train, and lead the restaurant to achieve objectives in sales, costs, labor, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, community engagement, and sustainability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Leadership: Provide comprehensive direction for the restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations, fostering high morale and engagement among staff, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction consistent with Snooze standards.
• Financial and Sales Management: Oversee all financial controls, including sales generation, cost management, labor scheduling, and cash handling procedures, with the objective of meeting all budgetary and growth targets.
• Community Engagement & Marketing: Develop and implement local marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns, while actively building relationships with local nonprofits, businesses, and government associations to integrate Snooze within the community.
• Team Development & Compliance: Manage all aspects of employment, from interviewing and hiring to training, evaluating, and developing staff for future leadership roles, ensuring compliance with all company policies and administering fair corrective action as necessary.
• Quality Assurance & Regulatory Adherence: Uphold Snooze’s standards for food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring full compliance with all federal, state, county, and municipal health, safety, and labor regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial and leadership experience in operations within the food and beverage industry.
• Experience: At least 4 years of operations and leadership experience in food, beverage, and service. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be at least 21 years of age. The role requires the stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week and stand for up to 10 hours.
• Skills: Excellent basic math skills, proficiency in operating a cash register and Point of Sale system, and the ability to communicate and comprehend the primary language(s) spoken in the restaurant’s service area.
