Area Support Representative I | Canon USA

• Mission: To ensure prompt delivery of various on-site work assignments, providing customer service and ultimately, customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Promptly deliver diverse on-site work assignments, consistently providing exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction across various client locations.
• Execute a wide range of operational tasks based on assigned location, potentially including copy/print production, mail/courier services, reception duties, or device maintenance.
• Perform detailed functions such as reviewing electronic files for print readiness, tracking courier items, greeting visitors, maintaining filing systems, or managing inventory movement.
• Maintain and perform routine upkeep on equipment like copiers and mail machines, deliver supplies, and assist end-users with basic functionality.
• Collaborate with multiple account teams to ensure smooth transitions of responsibility, provide site coverage when short-staffed, and contribute to the creation of Site Procedure Guides.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, requiring a HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Less than one year of related experience. Must be able to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter their premises. May require driving between multiple client locations, necessitating a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Skills: Basic computer skills and technical knowledge, ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines, good customer service and communication skills, willingness to learn new skills and interact with new teams, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to lift up to 50lbs, and capacity for extended periods of standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing duties.
