The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Overhead Door Company of Little Rock™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., located in North Little Rock, AR 72118. DH Pace is a family-owned, privately held industry leader with annual sales over $1 billion, specializing in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. This General Manager role is critical for assessing current operations, implementing effective changes, increasing sales and profitability, and maintaining a high level of customer service across the company’s three lines of business. The position demands a leader who can develop staff, foster customer relationships, and drive operational improvements that positively influence the bottom line.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions with full P&L responsibility.
• Recommend and implement appropriate operational and sales process improvement changes to increase customer satisfaction while delivering healthy profit margins.
• Serve as a consultative leader and mentor, providing operational assistance, advice, guidance, and career development to personnel.
• Assist with employee/job scheduling, as well as technical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem resolutions.
• Perform regular audits to ensure staff adherence to company best practices, policies, and procedures in their daily tasks.
• Maintain professional communication with personnel and customers, ensuring timely resolution of employee matters and escalated customer concerns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager with a minimum of seven years’ experience in a leadership position, preferably within a service provider industry like HVAC or a construction/building materials business involving product sales, installation, and servicing at customer sites.
• Experience: Seven years managing personnel, P&L, budgets, projects, materials ordering, sales, and customer service.
• Skills: Proficient with Windows based programs and ERP/CRM systems; strong analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, and financial results; aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems; good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree preferred; willingness and availability to train in Kansas City up to three times, one week per trip, during the first 90 days of employment.
