The Tone:

• Pay: $100,000–$110,000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Conflicts Supervisor.
• Mission: Ensure the firm’s conflicts checking and clearing process functions efficiently and provides platinum service to internal clients, upholding departmental standards.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, Intapp, Dunn & Bradstreet, Aderant

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Monitor shared inboxes and online requests, identifying and prioritizing rush and high priority requests for prompt handling.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with other Coordinators to assign, delegate, and transition work among the team, maintaining the workload and overall flow of requests.
• Communicate: Communicate with Assistants and Attorneys regarding the status of requests, party listing, and updates, serving as a resource for Conflicts Analysts.
• Escalate: Follow up on conflict issues with Conflicts Analysts, Partners, the Conflicts Supervisor, and the Office of General Counsel, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
• Improve: Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements to reduce risk and enhance efficiency across the department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Four-year college degree required, with extensive knowledge of legal conflicts concepts and related ethical rules.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a conflicts role, preferably within a large multi-national law firm.
• Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills; excellent people skills for collaborative environments; excellent customer service proficiencies; acute attention to detail, organizational and researching capabilities.
• Bonus: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based systems; familiarity with legal conflicts databases such as Intapp, Dunn & Bradstreet, or Aderant.
