What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all service points.
• Team Leadership and Development: Guide and develop your team, managing performance evaluation, conducting pay reviews, and making hire/fire decisions to influence team growth and ensure staff development.
• Financial Management: Manage financial performance, including responsibilities for budgeting, implementing cost controls, and conducting performance analysis to meet financial goals.
• Client and Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and customers, enhancing service quality and loyalty to support sustained success.
• Resource Deployment: Set direction and deploy resources effectively across various business, functional, or operational areas, including through dotted-line or matrixed management structures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, serving as a General Manager responsible for food service operations.
• Experience: Bring 2-5 years of management experience and 2-5 years of related experience, demonstrating a proven track record in food service management or directorship, preferably in large or complex settings.
• Skills: Exhibit strong leadership capabilities, solid financial expertise in budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis, effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work, and a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
