• Mission: This person owns the full life cycle of proposals and contracts, ensuring compliance with government regulations and managing subcontractor relationships to support technical and financial objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Proposal Management: Manages the preparation, review, and submission of proposals, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and develop competitive bids.
• Compliance and Review: Conducts detailed reviews of U.S. Government and Prime Contractor solicitations to ensure company compliance, developing proposal costing.
• Subcontractor Management: Manages subcontractor relationships under assigned contracts, ensuring all procurement actions conform to directives, policies, and regulations.
• Risk Mitigation: Analyzes existing subcontracts for risks, conflicts, and ambiguities, and contributes to risk management by identifying opportunities and creating mitigation plans.
• Pricing and Quotes: Develops pricing for standard, modified standard, and custom power conversion products, and quotes inquiries from customers and sales teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or a technical field, with a senior level of experience in the US defense/aerospace industry.
• Experience: 10+ years’ experience in the US defense/aerospace industry, with a strong track record in procurement, program, or project management.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple complex deliverables simultaneously.
• Bonus: Strong negotiator, good customer management skills, detail oriented.
