The Tone:
This is an Analyst role at Nomura, located in Philadelphia, PA. The firm connects markets across East & West, catering to the diverse needs of individuals, institutions, corporates, and governments through its four core business divisions. This position is central to supporting the efficient administration and strategic execution of Nomura’s US Wealth Sales, Product, and Marketing operations. The individual in this role will be responsible for translating high-level strategy into actionable plans and managing critical cross-functional initiatives across both the US Wealth and NAM International business teams.

• Mission: This person solves operational challenges and translates strategic goals into tangible actions for US Wealth Sales, Product, and Marketing operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize Financial Operations: Institute and administer best practices for US Wealth budget tracking, acting as a centralized point for all US Wealth teams’ expense management support, and processing invoices for key vendor relationships, sponsorships, and industry conference events.
• Maintain Business Resources: Develop and maintain a centralized repository of US Wealth vendor relationships and contracts, while also ensuring all current US Wealth organizational charts are accurate and accessible.
• Support Strategic Initiatives: Conduct industry research to inform projects and strategic design, collaborate across US Wealth functions to produce and maintain comprehensive business plans, and support sales forecasting processes in partnership with the Business Manager.
• Craft Leadership Communications: Develop high-quality, executive-level PowerPoint presentations tailored for senior leadership, translating complex information into clear and concise visuals to aid decision-making.
• Manage Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain robust KPI reporting frameworks for strategic initiatives, track and report on key performance metrics across US Wealth operations, and ensure business heads receive timely sales and activity reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level career stage with foundational understanding of business administration or financial services operations.
• Experience: Experience in administrative support, financial tracking, or data reporting in a business environment. Proven ability to create professional presentations.
• Skills: Budget Management, Executive Presentation Development, Data Reporting & Analysis, Vendor Relationship Management, Industry Research.
