Intern Marketing | Thornton Construction Company, Inc.
The Tone:
This is a Marketing Internship at Thornton Construction Company, Inc., located in Miami, Florida. Thornton Construction is a construction management firm specializing in bringing top-quality institutional, commercial, and residential projects to life, from new construction to renovations. This role provides overall support to the Marketing Department, assisting with client proposals, social media, and website upkeep, thereby contributing to the firm’s communication and brand presence.
The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to the Marketing Specialist within the Marketing Department.
• Mission: This intern supports the Marketing Department in creating and distributing marketing materials and managing communications.
• Tech Stack: CRM system
What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the marketing department, including filing, coding invoices, coordinating meetings, and maintaining data logs.
• Proposal Production: Coordinate the research, writing, layout, and binding of client proposals, presentations, and award applications to meet deadlines.
• Content Creation: Assist in developing and implementing content for social media, website updates, press releases, e-blasts, and newsletters.
• Database Management: Maintain company marketing databases by performing data entry for projects, personnel, photography, and contacts, and compiling employee resumes.
• Event Logistics: Help coordinate tradeshows and client events, and manage the department’s inventory of materials and promotional items.
