General Manager | Pura Vida Miami
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Pura Vida Miami, located in Miami, Florida, with a projected opening end of 2026. Pura Vida is an exciting and ever-growing lifestyle brand, dedicated to providing simple, wholesome food and beverage items that fit today’s customer lifestyle. The brand aims to offer an intimate, yet fast and consistent, experience. This General Manager position is crucial for launching and leading a new store, ensuring brand standards are met and the mission of customer satisfaction and operational excellence is achieved.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight: Oversee inventory management, labor allocation, and utilize financial analysis to optimize restaurant performance, including handling daily ordering and invoicing at the store level.
• Team Leadership & Development: Motivate and direct team members to exceed customer expectations, provide training and mentorship for new employees and managers, and create an environment that encourages innovation and development.
• Customer Experience Management: Maintain a strong floor presence to oversee and ensure exceptional customer service, direct staff on the floor to ensure smooth operations, and lead by example in addressing customer concerns effectively.
• Policy Adherence & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and uphold all Pura Vida procedures and policies at the store level, reinforcing brand standards consistently.
• Staff Recruitment & Retention: Support recruitment, selection, hiring, and talent retention initiatives at the store, with a focus on developing talented employees to build organizational capacity and bench strength.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level in the hospitality or restaurant industry. College education is preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of management experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; a friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills; ability to multitask in a demanding environment; advanced typing skills; and basic knowledge of Excel and POS systems.
• Bonus: Passionate about health and wellness; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
