Manager of Linehaul | OnTrac

• Mission: To monitor volume and adjust line haul plans to optimize the line haul network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Network Optimization: Monitor load volumes and adjust line haul plans with HUB operations and other Hub Linehaul Managers to optimize network efficiency and reduce costs.
• Operational Monitoring: Be present at the dock during the sort to ensure systems are in place for load volume monitoring and support contingency planning.
• Process Improvement: Monitor load quality and capacity utilization, developing and implementing improvement plans with Training and Development and HUB Operations.
• Team Management: Manage linehaul administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate data entry into the Fastrac linehaul module.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with Hub Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Linehaul Planning, and Vendor Relations to resolve facility challenges and vendor service issues.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Core domain knowledge in logistics/supply chain, dispatching, transportation, engineering, or business analysis/project management.
• Experience: Two years of logistics/supply chain, dispatching, transportation, engineering, or business analyst/project management experience. Five years leadership experience.
• Skills: High level of technical knowledge with DOT equipment. Proficiency in basic Excel, Word, and email. Ability to read and write in English.
• Bonus: Current Class A driver’s license. College degree strongly preferred.
