Assistant Manager | Quality Fresca LLC
The Tone:
This is an Assistant Manager role at Quality Fresca LLC, operating a Moe’s Southwest Grill location. Quality Fresca LLC creates a welcoming environment offering awesome food. This role is crucial for managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, developing a high-performing team, and achieving financial goals for the Moe’s Management Team.
The TL;DR
• Location: In-person
• Team: Reports to the General Manager and oversees Shift Supervisors and Crewmembers.
• Mission: Manage all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure successful service, guest satisfaction, team development, and financial performance.
• Tech Stack: Point of Sale system (POS), Microsoft suite.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Restaurant Operations Management: Oversee the daily functioning of the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction with dining experiences, proper off-premise management, and adherence to company standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, and develop shift supervisors and crewmembers, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to appearance and operational standards.
• Financial Control & Performance: Implement proper cash handling and POS system management, control food costs, manage inventory and reconciliation, and forecast sales for scheduling to achieve financial targets.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products according to Moe’s recipe manual and speed of service standards, while maintaining strict sanitation, safety, and security policies.
• Business Growth & Maintenance: Drive sales through local store marketing, manage crises effectively to safeguard all guests and employees, and perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be at least 18 years of age with a foundational understanding of restaurant operations, customer service principles, and leadership qualities.
• Experience: Proven capability in managing Point of Sale (POS) systems, controlling food costs, conducting inventory, and executing local store marketing initiatives.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft suite, basic mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and making correct change, and the ability to manage restaurant crises effectively.
• Bonus: Reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record for bank deposits and errands, and the flexibility to perform any crew duty as needed for training or covering staffing needs.
