Assistant Construction Project Manager, Store Design + Construction | Effy Jewelry

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Effy Jewelry, located in New York, NY. Effy Jewelry is a family-owned luxury brand with over 40 years of expertise in fine jewelry design, manufacturing, and retail, operating over 150 boutiques globally across premier land-based locations and cruise ships. This role is a key contributor to the design and construction of these retail stores, ensuring seamless procurement and project execution from concept through completion for a personalized and elevated shopping experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Maintenance Projects: Directs the execution of all incoming Maintenance and construction projects, partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage Vendor Relationships: Serves as the primary point of contact for all FF&E vendors, owning procurement for lighting, carpets, signage, and loose furniture.
• Oversee Project Information: Manages all project details within Asana on behalf of the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, ensuring information is accurate and current.
• Plan Project Pipeline: Plans and organizes upcoming projects up to 12 months in advance, in partnership with the Senior Project Manager and Senior Ops Integrations Manager.
• Maintain Project Budgets: Owns and maintains owner-supplied item costs within each project’s budget tracker, ensuring accuracy and accountability across active projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with core domain knowledge in project management, specifically owning projects from concept through completion.
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to manage internal and external relationships; ability to manage several concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment; experience tracking and managing project budgets with accuracy and accountability; highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach; strong problem-solving instincts and sound independent judgment.
• Bonus: Prior construction management or on-site construction experience; familiarity with the cruise industry; prior experience using Asana or a similar project management platform.
