General Manager | Kaskaid Hospitality

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: 50 hour work week of varying shifts
• Location: In-person
• Team: Leads and provides assistance to the entire staff, collaborating closely with managers and chefs.
• Mission: To do whatever it takes to make every guest happy and be the leading purveyor of the spirit of hospitality.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, making final decisions that impact guest service and overall operations.
• Staff Management: Recruit, manage performance, and develop all staff members, ensuring adherence to company procedures and service standards.
• Financial Oversight: Administer all financial and personnel/payroll duties accurately and on time, while actively managing costs related to food, beverage, supplies, utilities, and labor.
• Operational Compliance: Enforce sanitary practices, maintain professional restaurant image, and ensure full compliance with operational standards and all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Guest Experience: Ensure positive guest service across all areas, responding effectively to complaints to transform dissatisfied guests into return patrons.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial level with at least 6 years of supervisory experience, specifically including alcoholic beverage service.
• Experience: Completed Alcohol Service Training Course, experience managing POS systems, daily cash controls, and possessing a strong Marketing and Sales background.
• Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), superior guest service, strong organization, effective time management, and demonstrated good judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Bonus: Previous experience managing cost controls, along with ServSafe or Department of Health certification.
