What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, motivate, and develop an amazing team, overseeing staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management to meet bakery-cafe goals and foster Panera’s culture.
• Operational Oversight: Partner with the General Manager to make key decisions, solve problems, and assist in maintaining overall costs and inventory for the bakery-cafe.
• Guest Experience Excellence: Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food and service, building engaging relationships that foster long-term loyalty.
• Business Growth & Strategy: Contribute to growing the business by executing company strategies and initiatives through diligent operational procedures.
• Standards & Compliance: Maintain a healthy and safe workplace, ensuring team members follow company policies and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum age of 18 years, with a proven ability to drive positive business results through strong business acumen.
• Experience: 1+ years of restaurant management experience is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others; clear communication skills.
• Bonus: ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
