What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Cleaning & Preparation: Work with large datasets from various sources, using tools like Excel and SQL, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis.
• Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, applying basic statistical methods to answer business questions and support decision-making.
• Visualization & Reporting: Create clear and compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI, build dashboards that monitor key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Partner with senior analysts, marketing, and product teams to understand their data needs, help define metrics, and ensure reporting aligns with business goals.
• Ad-Hoc Requests: Respond to time-sensitive data requests from management, providing accurate and timely insights to support immediate decision-making.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Entry-Level position.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role, including internships.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts); basic knowledge of SQL for data querying; excellent attention to detail and data accuracy; ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Python (especially pandas); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
