• Mission: This person develops, implements, and tests embedded firmware and peripheral drivers, including security-sensitive applications, for various microcontroller products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Firmware Development: Develop application firmware and low-level peripheral drivers tailored to requirements for various MCU peripherals.
• Security Implementation: Implement firmware for security-sensitive applications and facilitate its porting to different MCU products.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in design and code reviews, perform static (MISRA) and dynamic analysis of the code, and conduct unit as well as requirement-based testing.
• Documentation: Write comprehensive engineering documentation for developed software and processes.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems encountered in embedded real-time systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics Communication or Embedded Systems.
• Experience: 7+ years of working experience in a relevant domain, including hands-on experience with embedded microcontrollers and their peripherals.
• Skills: Programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, or other scripting languages; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Understanding of cybersecurity and embedded security concepts, including Symmetric and Asymmetric crypto algorithms; experience with software development quality standards such as ASPICE and MISRA.
