What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement, operate, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms, managing Management and Workload Domains, including SDDC Manager, vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
• Perform end-to-end VCF lifecycle management, encompassing host commissioning/decommissioning, patch management, upgrades, compliance remediation, and complex troubleshooting across layers.
• Manage VMware ESXi (8.x/9.x) and vCenter Server environments, configuring HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and executing capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Operate and troubleshoot hyperconverged and disaggregated infrastructure, such as Dell VxRail, Dell Power-Flex, and Dell PowerEdge servers, coordinating with OEMs for hardware support.
• Develop and maintain automation using Power-CLI, REST APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles, integrating platforms with enterprise monitoring and ITSM tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Senior-level IT professional.
• Experience: Over 10+ years of IT work experience, with strong hands-on experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and expert knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Aria Suite, and SRM.
• Skills: Expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployment, operation, and lifecycle management; strong proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and Aria Suite; strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and network layers; demonstrated ownership, operational discipline, attention to detail, and an automation/DevOps/GitOps mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, migrating workloads between VMware, Azure Stack, and OpenShift, exposure to container platforms and Kubernetes operations, supporting APAC regional or global infrastructure environments. Preferred certifications include VMware Certified Professional (VCP‑DCV), VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI or Azure Infrastructure, Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes, Dell VxRail or PowerFlex.
