The Tone:
This is a leadership role at Centers Health Care, located in Staten Island, New York. Centers Health Care operates Richmond Adult Day Care, providing essential services to adults. This role is critical for the planning, development, and oversight of all program activities, directly impacting the quality of care and the program’s strategic growth.

The TL;DR
• Location: In-person, Staten Island, NY
• Mission: Lead the Richmond Adult Day Care program to ensure quality services, compliance, and growth of its registrant base.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Strategy & Growth: Direct and perform all marketing and outreach efforts to diversify the registrant base, aiming to increase and maintain the program census in alignment with the Centers Health Care strategic plan.
• Program Operations & Development: Plan, develop, organize, and implement the full scope of activities and services offered within the Adult Day Care program, including the development and maintenance of administrative plans and procedures.
• Regulatory & Fiscal Compliance: Ensure the strict observance of all established guidelines, regulatory requirements, and fiscal restraints pertinent to the program’s operation, including ongoing compliance with licensing regulations.
• Team & Admissions Management: Provide comprehensive oversight for all program staff, students, and volunteers, encompassing hiring, training, managing, evaluating, and terminating, while also coordinating admission data with RN and Social Worker and evaluating eligibility for program acceptance.
• Reporting & Outreach: Prepare detailed monthly reports, covering key metrics such as program census and a summary of daily operations, and prepare/conduct information, outreach, education, and advocacy programs related to services offered, including active participation in community and professional meetings/seminars like the ADC Council.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with mandatory prior managerial experience and core domain knowledge in Adult Day Care program management.
• Experience: Demonstrated prior management experience is required.
• Skills: Strong leadership capabilities; Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration; High level of organization and attention to detail; Proven ability to foster and lead team development; Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field; Prior professional experience specifically within an Adult Day Care environment.
