Senior Associate, FHA/HUD Processor, HUD Lending | Forbright Bank

This Senior Associate position is crucial for supporting the core HUD loan production functions, ensuring efficient processing, meticulous document management, and effective client relations, directly contributing to the bank’s mission-driven lending operations.

• Mission: This role ensures the efficient processing of FHA/HUD loans by managing documentation, coordinating parties, and supporting the underwriting team.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process: Maintain checklists, review submitted exhibits, and meticulously organize collected documents for HUD loan transactions.
• Coordinate: Facilitate the flow of information among borrowers, borrower representatives, brokers, and third-party vendors.
• Manage: Coordinate third-party invoices and contracts essential for each loan transaction.
• Systematize: Maintain Forbright’s proprietary ‘Portal’ system and electronic control binder for every transaction.
• Support: Assist with loan closings and complete post-closing requirements in accordance with the HUD Quality Control Plan and internal guidelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s Degree is required for this Senior Associate role, with a focus on supporting FHA/HUD lending functions.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in HUD 232 and/or HUD MAP loan processing or project management is required.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
