The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, Santa Rosa, CA
• Pay: $27–$29 hourly
• Mission: Enhance residents’ independence and quality of life by overseeing all activity programming, organization, and facilitation within the community.
• Tech Stack: MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Programming: Provide an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere through regularly scheduled high-quality activities and events.
• Engagement: Actively lead activities and encourage resident participation in all activities, excursions, and special events.
• Team Management: Recruit, develop, manage, and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.
• Environment Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
• Collaboration: Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director level. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with core knowledge in providing planned activities and evaluating residents’ needs.
• Experience: A minimum of one year experience in providing planned activities.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office programs, ability to drive community vehicles, organizing and budgeting activities, managing staff and volunteers, promoting resident participation.
• Bonus: Prefer one year of experience supervising and managing employees and volunteers, and prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement.
