What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: General ledger journal entries.
• Process: Month-end entries, including eliminations and allocations.
• Reconcile: Balance sheet accounts by preparing, documenting, and analyzing them.
• Improve: Accounting procedures through analysis of existing processes and recommending changes.
• Support: Provide accounting assistance and engage with departments across the organization.
• Ensure: Collaborate with the management team to ensure full compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Assist: Aid in internal control documentation, monitoring, and review.
• Generate: Prepare monthly intercompany entries with corporate entities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Accounting or Finance. This role is suited for an early-career professional with foundational accounting knowledge.
• Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience in a GAAP environment.
• Skills: Proactive problem identification and analysis, independent research, recommendation of corrective actions, Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• Bonus: Public accounting experience is desired.
