Program Administrator | Element Care PACE

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role across Element Care’s multiple centers in the local area. Element Care PACE is an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, integrated care for the elderly through its Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This Program Administrator position is pivotal, managing the full spectrum of activities within the PACE program, encompassing daily operations, quality assurance, customer service excellence, efficient service delivery, and cost management. The role is fundamental in ensuring continuous compliance with all established state, federal, and organizational regulations, thereby directly impacting the well-being of participants.

• Pay: $68000–$74000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Director of Center Operations and/or Center Manager
• Mission: To ensure efficient, high-quality, and compliant daily operations and service delivery within the PACE program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the PACE program, managing daily standards, assisting with staffing ratios, scheduling, and contributing to fiscal management and quality improvement efforts. This also includes assisting in tracking the timeliness of service requests, falls, significant events, grievances, and care plans.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all established federal, state, and local regulatory requirements relevant to the PACE program’s operations.
• Quality & Service Improvement: Monitor the quality of service and utilization standards, actively participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement plans to enhance participant care.
• Participant Care & Resolution: Ensure staff provides the highest quality of care and services, investigating and resolving any concerns regarding care to maintain participant satisfaction.
• Center Management Support: Provide essential coverage for the Center Manager in their absence, overseeing PACE operations including care planning, service delivery, grievances, appeals, and ensuring customer service excellence and efficient food delivery services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level with knowledge of operations management, quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience leading staff and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with a geriatric population.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership and motivation, an ability to initiate and drive changes with a results-driven approach, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or a related field is preferred, along with COVID vaccination and the ability to pass ServSafe Food Protection Manager and Allergen certificates.
