What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide comprehensive accounting support to the department, preparing and maintaining essential documents and records.
• Transactions: Prepare bank deposits, process payments, and manage general ledger postings and financial statements.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts, including bank accounts, and financial records accurately and promptly.
• Data Entry: Enter critical financial transaction data into the applicable systems and databases.
• Resolution: Research, track, and resolve any accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A strong understanding of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles, alongside budget control methods, policies, and procedures, typically demonstrated by a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of direct relevant experience in an accounting support role.
• Skills:
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial and accounting records.
• Analyzing, consolidating, and interpreting diverse accounting data.
• Compiling, organizing, and communicating accounting data and results concisely.
• Managing departmental budgets effectively within established constraints.
