Regional County Director – South | Hawkeye Area Community Action Program
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP), leading operations in the southern region of its service area. HACAP is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families and individuals across nine counties by collaborating with various community partners. This role is crucial for representing HACAP in the community, coordinating vital services, and ensuring neighbors receive the necessary resources for stability and well-being.

• Pay: $35.03–$40.36 hourly
• Mission: Coordinate services across the region and work with county teams to ensure neighbors receive the resources and support they need to improve their stability and well-being.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Community Representation: Act as the primary representative for HACAP within the community to build and maintain essential relationships.
• Regional Operations: Lead and manage all operational activities across the southern region of HACAP’s service area.
• Service Coordination: Coordinate diverse community services throughout the region to ensure comprehensive support for individuals and families.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with county teams to effectively deliver resources that enhance neighbor stability and well-being.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
