The Tone:
This is a full-time Program Director role at ServiceNet, located in Pittsfield, MA. ServiceNet is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to assisting over 8,400 individuals facing complex challenges such as mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, homelessness, and substance use issues, supported by over 1,800 dedicated staff members. This vital role involves leading the daily operations of a new residential program within ServiceNet’s Developmental Brain Injury Services (DBIS), ensuring high-quality care, program compliance, and staff leadership. The Program Director is crucial in fostering a culture of respect, creativity, and personal growth for residents, empowering individuals with brain injuries to lead safe, enjoyable, and meaningful lives within their homes and communities.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday-Friday, 9a-5p; On-call schedule / rotation; On-site – Office located at residential program
• Location: In-person, Pittsfield, MA
• Pay: $50079–$52139 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Director of Operations.
• Mission: Lead daily operations of a residential program to ensure high-quality care and support for individuals with brain injuries, promoting their safe and meaningful lives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Launch & Compliance: Support the successful launch of a new residential program, including home setup, furnishing, hiring, and staff training, while ensuring ongoing compliance with all licensing and regulatory standards.
• Resident Care & Well-being: Oversee the comprehensive health, safety, and daily living needs of residents, covering nutrition, medical care, hygiene, and recreational engagement.
• Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage individual financial needs and associated reporting, and actively contribute to ISP reviews, treatment team meetings, and individualized planning, including goals, behavior plans, and safety plans.
• Staff Leadership & Development: Lead, teach, and model best practices for staff using Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies, and organize regular program staff meetings.
• On-Call & Coverage: Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule and coordinate coverage during staff absences to ensure continuous program support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director level. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or developmental disabilities.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and computer abilities.
• Bonus: Supervisory/management experience. Preferred certifications include MAP, PABC, or CPR/First Aid.
