• Mission: Assist in analyzing, evaluating, documenting, and closing loan opportunities to grow the Healthcare Finance business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Opportunities: Evaluate potential direct loan origination and participation opportunities for healthcare service providers and real estate owners.
• Model Financial Scenarios: Develop financial projections and conduct sensitivity analyses to assess a firm’s loan repayment capabilities under diverse economic conditions.
• Conduct Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive financial due diligence on target companies to evaluate their financial health and risk.
• Prepare Investment Memos: Draft and present detailed loan investment screening memos to Healthcare Finance leadership, outlining key findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate Loan Closings: Manage the coordination of loan closings in collaboration with the Portfolio Management and Operations team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is for a Senior Associate. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in audit, credit analysis, investment banking, M&A transaction services, financial rotational programs, loan underwriting, or HUD underwriting. A High School diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: Proven track record in financial statement analysis with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles is essential.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Possesses outstanding problem-solving and time management capabilities, alongside a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
• Bonus: A CPA or CFA certification is highly valued, as is prior experience within the healthcare sector.
