Executive Business Administrator | Microsoft

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Microsoft, located in Washington, USA. Microsoft Security builds and provides end-to-end, simplified solutions to protect digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds for customers, aiming to make the world a safer place for all. This role is crucial as it supports the Corporate Vice President of Customer Value Creation, enabling organizational effectiveness by managing strategic operations, communications, and logistical needs for a global organization.

• Team: Customer Value Creation (CVC) in Microsoft Security; supports Corporate Vice President of CVC
• Mission: Enable organizational effectiveness for the Customer Value Creation CVP by managing strategic operations and communications.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft 365

What You’ll Actually Do
• Calendar Management: Strategically manage and prioritize the Corporate Vice President’s calendar, balancing business priorities, customer engagements, and organizational rhythms.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships, drive communication, and serve as a trusted liaison between executives, business partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of leadership meetings, employee events, customer engagements, and town halls, ensuring inclusive experiences for all participants.
• Resource Management: Manage executive office expenses, budgets, and operational processes in close partnership with Finance, HR, and Business Management teams.
• Travel Management: Oversee and manage all travel arrangements and logistics for the executive, ensuring compliance and proactively addressing any changes or issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior career level with 7+ years of administrative, business support, customer service, or executive support experience.
• Experience: 7+ years with responsibility for executive calendaring, meeting logistics, travel management, and business operations.
• Skills: Strategic calendar management, cross-stakeholder communication, event coordination, resource and financial management, discretion with confidential information, sound judgment, and proactive problem-solving.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field; 6+ years mentoring others or serving as a leader; 10+ years managing administrative budgets; experience supporting a Corporate Vice President; proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; experience supporting global organizations and executives across multiple regions.
