Harvest Intern | Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery
The Tone:
This is a paid, full-time, seasonal internship at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery, located in Minnesota. The company produces a diverse range of beverages including cold-hardy and traditional wines, craft cider, and bourbon. This role is crucial for supporting the critical harvest season across all production areas. As part of a small team, the intern will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various stages of winemaking, cider production, and the bourbon program.
The TL;DR

• Pay: $18–$20 hourly
• Team: Small team, exposed to all aspects of harvest, assisting the winemaking and production staff.
• Mission: To provide essential support for the diverse production processes of wine, cider, and bourbon during the demanding harvest period.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain sanitation of production tanks and equipment.
• Receive and process incoming grapes for winemaking.
• Perform essential additions to fermenting juice and wine.
• Execute rackings and transfers of juice and wine.
• Manage red wine fermentations throughout the process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A passion for cleaning and learning about beverage production.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing a ladder and stairs, bending down, and crawling under things. Good reading, writing, and math skills are required, along with reliable transportation, housing, and an alarm clock. Must be legal to work in the US or able to secure a visa independently, and available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Skills: Attention to detail, Organization, Physical stamina, Communication (reading, writing), Basic numerical proficiency, Positive attitude.
• Bonus: Prior experience with forklift operation.
